How to unsubscribe from Lululemon emails
Lululemon unsubscribe is a single toggle if you have an account: per Lululemon's own help centre, head to your account profile and switch off send me emails. No account? The footer unsubscribe link in any of their emails opens a preferences page where you untick the notification boxes and save. Either way your membership, order history, and purchase emails are unaffected - the toggle governs marketing only, and removals can take a couple of days to fully register.
Try ClearMyInbox free - bulk unsubscribe in one click, free to start.
Method 1: the "send me emails" toggle in your account
- Sign in at shop.lululemon.com.
- Open your account profile.
- Switch the send me emails toggle off.
This is the route Lululemon's help centre documents, and it flips the master switch for marketing mail on your account. Membership status and perks do not change - email preferences and membership are entirely separate systems.
Method 2: the footer link and preferences page
- Open any Lululemon marketing email - typically from hello@e.lululemon.com.
- Click unsubscribe at the very bottom.
- On the preferences page, untick the boxes such as Product Notifications.
- Click Save Changes.
This works without signing in and is the only route if you subscribed at checkout as a guest. Give it up to 72 hours; emails already in flight will still arrive.
Watch for the second stream: store and community mail
Lululemon splits its sending. Product drops and promos come from hello@e.lululemon.com, while local store events and community mail arrive from stores@e.lululemon.com. If you once gave your email at a till or class sign-up, that stream can outlive your main opt-out - open a store email specifically and unsubscribe from its own footer link to close it.
The lululemon app notifies separately
If you use the lululemon shopping app, its push notifications for drops and We Made Too Much restocks run on a channel of their own. The email toggle has no effect there: open the app, go to your settings, and switch off the notification types you do not want, or disable notifications for the app in your phone's settings. The reverse holds too - muting the app leaves email untouched.
How to know it actually worked
A quiet first week proves little - retail calendars have gaps, and a "successful" unsubscribe with a broken backend looks identical until the next sale campaign fires. Instead of leaving that to memory, ClearMyInbox marks its calendar for you: about 30 days after the opt-out it sweeps your inbox for new Lululemon marketing and reports back, stamping the sender Confirmed stopped or surfacing it as still active so you know to hit the second stream. Athletic-wear brands are a category-wide problem - the same drill applies to Gymshark and Nike, and the whole category cleanup is covered in how to stop shopping emails.
Filter or block if mail persists
Should promos outlast both the toggle and the footer link, move the fight to your mail client. Gmail: create a filter on hello@e.lululemon.com (and stores@ if needed) set to Skip Inbox or Delete. Outlook: Sweep the sender or add it to Blocked senders under Junk email settings. Filter the marketing addresses specifically rather than the lululemon.com domain so receipts and shipping updates survive.
Frequently asked questions
Does unsubscribing from Lululemon emails affect my lululemon membership?▾
No. Email preferences and membership are independent. Turning off marketing email does not remove membership perks, your order history, or your account - it only changes what lands in your inbox.
Will I still get Lululemon order and shipping emails?▾
Yes. Receipts, order confirmations, shipping updates, and return notifications are transactional and keep arriving after you unsubscribe. They only trigger when you buy or return something.
Why do I get emails from stores@e.lululemon.com?▾
Lululemon sends most marketing from hello@e.lululemon.com, but local store and community mail comes from stores@e.lululemon.com as its own stream. If store emails continue after a general unsubscribe, open one of them and use its footer link so that specific stream is covered too.
How long does the Lululemon unsubscribe take?▾
Plan for a few days. Like most retailers, Lululemon can take up to about 72 hours to process a removal, and campaigns already scheduled will still be delivered in the meantime.
How do I stop Lululemon text messages?▾
SMS is a separate opt-in from email. Reply STOP to any Lululemon marketing text to leave the SMS list - your email toggle does not control texts, and unsubscribing from texts does not touch email.
