What ClearMyInbox does

ClearMyInbox is a web application that helps you take control of your inbox. You connect an email account (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or any IMAP-compatible provider), and we scan your email headers to find marketing and newsletter subscriptions. We then show you a list of senders with unsubscribe links so you can unsubscribe from unwanted emails individually or in bulk.

We also offer optional features like AI-powered spam scoring, email deletion, and scheduled automatic scans for paid subscribers.

Account registration and responsibilities

To use ClearMyInbox, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when registering.
  • Keeping your password secure and not sharing it with others.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Subscription plans and payment terms

ClearMyInbox offers three tiers:

  • Free - up to 3 scans per month, 30-day scan range, 1 email account, manual unsubscribe only (via link).
  • Pro - unlimited scans, 365-day scan range, up to 5 email accounts, auto-unsubscribe, bulk unsubscribe, email deletion, AI spam scoring, scheduled scans, and analytics. Billed monthly or annually.
  • Lifetime - all Pro features with a one-time payment and no recurring charges.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed at checkout and may vary by currency. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Billing, refunds, and cancellation

  • Cancellation: you can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: we offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase for both Pro subscriptions and Lifetime plans. If you are not satisfied, contact us at support@clearmyinbox.ai within 14 days for a full refund.
  • Failed payments: if a recurring payment fails, we will notify you and retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after multiple attempts, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use ClearMyInbox to:

  • Send spam, phishing emails, or other unsolicited communications.
  • Access, scan, or manipulate email accounts that you do not own or have permission to use.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
  • Overload our systems with excessive automated requests or abuse the API.
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without our written permission.

Intellectual property

ClearMyInbox, its logo, design, code, and all related materials are owned by Clear My Inbox LTD. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

Your data belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your email data, scan results, or any content from your connected accounts. You retain all rights to your data.

Limitation of liability

ClearMyInbox is provided on an "as is" basis. While we do our best to ensure the service works correctly, we cannot guarantee that:

  • Every unsubscribe link will successfully unsubscribe you - some senders use non-standard or broken links.
  • The service will be free from errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities.
  • Third-party services (Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Stripe) will always be available or function as expected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clear My Inbox LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Service availability

We aim to keep ClearMyInbox available around the clock, but we provide the service on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed uptime or SLA. We may occasionally take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or to address security issues. We will try to give advance notice when possible, but emergency maintenance may happen without warning.

Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including but not limited to:

  • Abuse of the service or other users.
  • Fraudulent activity or chargebacks.
  • Violation of the acceptable use policy.

If we terminate your account for a violation, you are not entitled to a refund. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and offer pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
