Method 1: the Quora email settings page
This is the only place that exposes every category at once.
- Sign in and open quora.com/settings/email.
- You will see a grid: rows are notification types (Digest, Answers to questions, Comments on your answers, Upvotes, New followers, Direct messages, Topics you follow, Marketing) and columns are channels.
- Untick every checkbox in the Email column.
- Scroll down and click Save Changes. Without saving, the unticked boxes revert.
The Quora Digest gets its own row because it is the highest-volume category. Many people focus on it and forget the smaller categories (upvotes, comments) which together still create a steady drip of mail.
