How to unsubscribe from Revolve emails

Revolve unsubscribe is a single click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Revolve email - no login needed. Signed-in shoppers can instead uncheck promotional email on the Email Preferences page inside their account and hit update. As a pure-play online retailer, Revolve leans on email harder than most: new-arrival drops, influencer edits, and near-constant sale extensions can mean multiple sends a day in peak season. Revolve's own FAQ sets expectations on timing - about 24 hours for the change to register and 3 to 7 business days before the emails fully phase out.

Method 1: the in-email unsubscribe link

  1. Open any recent Revolve promotional email.
  2. Scroll to the footer and click unsubscribe.
  3. Confirm on the landing page if prompted.

This is the fastest route and works even for addresses that never had a Revolve account - useful if you only ever signed up for a first-order discount code. Gmail's native Unsubscribe button at the top of the message does the same job in one tap when Revolve's mail exposes the standard header.

Method 2: account email preferences

  1. Sign in at revolve.com.
  2. Open the Email Preferences page in your account settings.
  3. Uncheck the promotional email box (or adjust which categories you receive).
  4. Click update to save.

Two backstops if neither works for you: Revolve's privacy page invites opt-out requests to sales@revolve.com, and promotional texts stop when you reply STOP.

Expect a phase-out, not an instant stop

Revolve explicitly quotes a wind-down: roughly a day for the preference change to take effect and up to a week for queued campaigns to drain. With Revolve's sale cadence, that can still mean a handful of emails after you opt out. Only treat it as broken once that week has passed.

Verifying it actually stopped

Because the phase-out window blurs the line between lag and a failed opt-out, verification matters more with Revolve than with slower senders. A month on, ClearMyInbox checks whether Revolve mail truly dried up and surfaces the sender again if the sale blasts resumed - no manually scrolling your promotions tab to find out. Common reasons it resumes: a checkout re-subscribe, a second address on file, or mail from sister site FWRD, which runs its own list under Revolve Group along with superdown. Other fast-movers behave the same way - see unsubscribing from ASOS and unsubscribing from Urban Outfitters.

Blocking as a fallback

If Revolve promos outlive the phase-out window and a second opt-out, filter them: in Gmail, match the promotional sender and Skip Inbox or Delete; in Outlook, Sweep the address or add it to Blocked senders. Scope the filter to the marketing sender rather than all of revolve.com so shipping and return emails survive - as an online-only retailer, those are the emails you genuinely need. What continues after you opt out

Order confirmations, shipping and delivery notifications, and return updates are transactional and unaffected. Your account and order history are untouched too - unsubscribing only silences marketing.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take for Revolve emails to stop?

Revolve's own customer care pages say to allow about 24 hours for preference changes to register and 3 to 7 business days for emails to be completely phased out. Anything landing inside that window is queue lag, not a failed opt-out.

Can I unsubscribe from Revolve texts too?

Yes. Reply STOP (Revolve also accepts CANCEL, QUIT, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, or OPT-OUT) to any promotional text. SMS and email opt-outs are separate - doing one does not do the other.

Does unsubscribing affect my Revolve account or order emails?

No. Your account, saved details, and order history are untouched, and transactional emails - order confirmations, shipping, and return updates - continue as normal.

Are FWRD emails on a separate list?

Yes. FWRD is Revolve Group's luxury sister site with its own email program. If you shop both, unsubscribe from each separately. The same goes for superdown, the group's budget-focused sibling.

Can I opt out without logging in?

Yes. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of any Revolve email works without a sign-in, and Revolve's privacy page says you can also email sales@revolve.com to opt out.
