How to unsubscribe from Crunchyroll emails

Method 1: account email preferences on the web

1. Sign in at crunchyroll.com with the account that receives the mail.
2. Click your avatar in the top right corner and choose Settings.
3. Open the Email Preferences section - a checkbox list of email types.
4. Uncheck episode and simulcast alerts, newsletters, Premium offers, and store or merchandise promotions, then save.

Unsubscribing is not cancelling Crunchyroll Premium

Plenty of "Crunchyroll unsubscribe" searches mean the subscription, so to be precise: unchecking email boxes changes nothing about billing. Cancelling Premium happens in your Crunchyroll account settings if you signed up on the website, or in Apple, Google Play, or whichever store bills you if you subscribed through an app - third-party billing cannot be cancelled from Crunchyroll's side at all. None of that is a failed opt-out - it is transactional mail that exists as long as the account does.
