How to unsubscribe from Pandora emails

The fastest way to unsubscribe from Pandora emails is the Notices page inside your account: sign in and open pandora.com/settings/notices, then switch off every email category. Method 1: the Notices page on the web (recommended)

1. Sign in at pandora.com with the account that receives the mail.
2. Click your profile in the top right, choose Settings, then Notices - or go straight to pandora.com/settings/notices.
3. Toggle off the email options you do not want: station and listening updates, new music, local concert alerts, and special offers.
4. Save. Pandora says opt-outs can take up to 72 hours to process, so a promo that is already queued may still land once.

Method 2: the Pandora mobile app

1. Open the Pandora app and tap Profile.
2. Tap the Settings gear, then Notification Center.
3. Switch off the email toggles under From Pandora (music updates and offers) and From Friends (profile and social activity).

The app writes to the same account-level preferences as the web Notices page, so doing one is enough. The noisy list for most listeners is the personalized recommendations stream - the "we added new music to your station" mail - so make sure that toggle in particular is off.

Method 3: the unsubscribe link in any Pandora email

Every Pandora marketing email has an Unsubscribe link in the footer. It works without signing in, but it only opts you out of the category that sent that message - a concert-alert opt-out leaves special offers running. Unsubscribing is not cancelling Pandora Plus or Premium

A lot of people typing "Pandora unsubscribe" actually mean the paid plan. Email opt-out changes nothing about billing. To stop paying, cancel under your subscription settings on pandora.com if Pandora bills you directly, or in Apple or Google subscription settings if you signed up inside the app. The two systems do not talk to each other, and after cancelling you should expect winback offers unless the marketing toggles are also off. Verify it actually stopped

Because Pandora runs several parallel lists and allows itself 72 hours to process each opt-out, the honest test is whether the mail is still arriving weeks later. Pandora is upfront about this: every registered user receives occasional emails about important service updates, and account maintenance mail - password resets, email-change confirmations, and billing receipts for Plus or Premium - continues regardless of your notification preferences. That is normal transactional behavior, not a failed opt-out. The only way to silence Pandora completely is to close the account.
