How to unsubscribe from Instagram emails

To do an Instagram unsubscribe, the fastest path is the email and SMS notifications page at instagram.com/accounts/emailsettings on the web. The mobile app has the same controls under Settings and activity → Notifications → Email and SMS. Login-security alerts are not opt-out-able by design - they only fire on real account events. Method 1: Instagram email notifications on web

  1. Open instagram.com/accounts/emailsettings while signed in.
  2. You will see categories: Feedback emails, Reminder emails, Product emails, News emails, Support emails.
  3. Untick every category you want to silence.
  4. Save.

Login alert emails do not appear in the list because they cannot be disabled - Meta keeps them mandatory for account-security reasons. They only arrive when a new device or location signs in.

  1. Open the Instagram app and tap your profile photo.
  2. Tap the hamburger menu (three lines) in the top-right.
  3. Tap Settings and activity.
  4. Tap Notifications.
