How to unsubscribe from SoundCloud emails

A SoundCloud unsubscribe is fast via the notification settings at soundcloud.com/settings/notifications. SoundCloud emails fall into two buckets: per-action notifications (someone followed you, liked a track, commented) and platform digests (weekly Discover, recommendations, partner offers). Method 1: SoundCloud notification settings on web

1. Sign in at soundcloud.com.
2. Open soundcloud.com/settings/notifications directly, or navigate via avatar → Settings → Notifications.
3. You will see categories in rows with Email, Push, and In-app columns. Switch off every Email toggle.
4. Pay attention to Newsletter and Recommendations at the top - those drive the bulk of marketing volume.
5. Save.

Method 2: SoundCloud mobile app

1. Open the app and tap your profile avatar.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Disable the Email column under each category. Web and mobile sync, so once is enough.

Method 3: in-email Unsubscribe link

Every SoundCloud email has a footer Unsubscribe link. Signed with a token, no login required, but only opts you out of that single category. Gmail and Apple Mail expose SoundCloud's List-Unsubscribe header as a top-of-message Unsubscribe button - the fastest option for killing a single category. Per-artist email overrides

SoundCloud allows fans to enable email alerts for specific artists. If you do not see global emails stop after disabling the categories above, check whether you have a per-artist override. Open the artist profile, click the bell icon under their banner, and clear any email-related toggle. There is no global list of overrides - you have to revisit each followed artist.

Why SoundCloud emails survive an unsubscribe

The usual reason is that SoundCloud runs more than one email stream. Digests about artists you follow (new uploads, reposts, fan activity) are driven by your follows and per-artist overrides, while product marketing (Newsletter, Recommendations, partner offers) is driven by the toggles at the top of the notifications page. Clearing one stream leaves the other running, so it is easy to kill the marketing and still receive a repost roundup, or the other way around. And a footer link only ever ends the stream that sent that specific message, never both.
